Lionel Messi finally penned a two year deal on Tuesday evening with Paris Saint-Germain earning him around K122 Million (£25 Million) as sign-on fee. According to the Telegraph He will be earning more than £1m (K4.9 million) per week for the two years with an option for a third year.

Barcelona could not keep him even with half of his salary due to financial and structural obstacles.

Messi, 34  became a free agent on the 1st of July after 21 years at Camp Nou. According to Independent, Messi explained that PSG’s “ambition” and his familiarity with the squad convinced him to join PSG on a free transfer.
